No. Ledoly is an independent practice platform, not affiliated with or endorsed by IELTS, the British Council, IDP, or Cambridge. Your band is an estimated practice score to guide your study — not an official result.
How accurate is the AI band estimate?
Listening & Reading are auto-scored against an answer key, so they're exact for the questions you answer. Writing & Speaking are estimated against the public band descriptors and are typically within about ±0.5 of a human marker. For a decisive check before test day, add a human Writing Review or Mock Speaking.
Do I need to pay to try it?
No. The Band Predictor and the first lessons are free. You only pay when you unlock a full band pack.
What about the listening audio and speaking?
The full voice experience (real audio listening + pronunciation-scored speaking) is being finished now. Today the predictor uses transcripts and typed speaking so you can still get an honest estimate of your reading, vocabulary, and grammar.
Do credits expire?
